A big part of my role as a marketing coordinator is content generation. I get to go out and capture moments of pure joy, kind of a sweet gig.
For each year of my college career the spring semester would end and a group of friends and I would drive across the country in search of snow. Mt.Hood just so happens to receive 500+ inches annually and has lift serviced skiing through the summer. I have spent a lot of time in the Mt.Hood National Forest and surrounding areas. A lot of my favorite images come from my yearly migration to this great place.
Windshield time is inevitable when you like traveling. Countless hours spent in a car watching the sun rise and set from inside a crammed car going from point A to point B.
Some trips stand out more than others. When we left for this weekend backpacking trip to Michigan the forecast called for rain all day Saturday. They were right and we hiked 10 miles next to lake superior in the pouring rain on a muddy trail with backpacks full of gear. Sunday was the exact opposite thats when I took most of my pictures that weekend. You can watch a recap in the video section.
Shooting in terrain parks is something I have been doing for a long time. At some point you feel like you have shot every possible angle in every different lighting and any photo you take feels like a repeat. I keep pushing on though trying to find more unique perspectives and showcasing the fun of snowboarding.
